What’s coming
In the launch post the developers listed what they are working on next:
- Controller support, beyond the Steam Deck running well today.
- Mobile and Switch ports, which they say have been “requested constantly”.
- An online challenge mode, where you compare designs with other dressmakers and vote for favourites.
- Transparent fabrics, which did not make the launch build.

Beware of fake mobile versions
Searches like “Dressmaker APK” turn up unofficial downloads. There is no official mobile version yet. Anything claiming otherwise is not from the developers and may be unsafe.
Frequently asked questions
Is Dressmaker on Nintendo Switch?
Not yet. At launch the developers said they are planning a Switch port, which players have requested constantly. No release date has been announced.
Is Dressmaker on iPhone, iPad or Android?
Not yet. Mobile ports are planned. Until then, the free browser version on our homepage needs a desktop with a mouse. Treat any APK you find as unofficial and unsafe.
Is Dressmaker on PS5 or Xbox?
No PlayStation or Xbox version has been announced.
Does Dressmaker work on Linux?
The Steam release lists Windows and macOS. The free itch.io prototype also has a Linux build.
